Final Thoughts

I took the time to calculate my amusement park meals for all 10 visits, and in total they would have cost me $249 exactly. In total I saved $94 on eating out for these last 10 days. I am glad that I got my money's worth in time for the end of the year, but I can only imagine the savings I would have made had I done this earlier in the year. That is why I decided to get the annual pass with all the extras for 2025. Since I work in Orange County now and Knott's Berry Farm is just a quick freeway exit I know I will be using it multiple times a week from now on.

I know some people may see it as visitors "cheating the system" and not too long ago Six Flags got rid of the meal pass option for the same reason. However, after this experience I can whole-heartedly say it is a lifesaver for many people out there. One thing I noticed while I was visiting the park to get food was that there were other people I recognized each time doing the same too stopping by after work to grab their dinner. I saw a lot of people in line asking for the to-go containers or foil to wrap on top of their meals. There was one particular family that stood out to me because I saw them each time I came to visit the park, so I can only assume they rely on coming to eat dinner every day. With inflation the way it's been this is a God-send to locals in the community, and I am beyond grateful hot meals are available to those in need.
